Thais Sasso Lopes was awarded the Ethel Mary Reid Research Grant from the Royal Zoological Society of New South Wales. She plans to use the grant to cover some laboratory and field equipment to investigate the role of amphibian community composition on disease dynamics, and how it impacts the endangered frog Mixophyes fleayi.
